It’s time to try the “J-2-J” Jumpstart to Joy
This simple technique can radically change your daily emotional state for the better. It is based on modern scientific findings from positive psychology and new understandings about how our brains work in regard to habit creation. The best thing is that it can be done in just 12 minutes every morning and less than 4 minutes in the evening. It doesn’t require any equipment (except perhaps a journal) and you will get to experience all of the benefits of being in a happier state very quickly.
Why would you want to be happier? – Here is why:
– It feels good and you will enjoy life more (obvious but worth noting). However, as well as that, happier people are more:

How to do the Jumpstart to Joy in the morning
Do each of these practices for 3 minutes each when you first wake up:
- Meditate, Be Mindful Or Just Watch Your Breath.
- Write Down 3 Things That You Are Grateful For.
- Acknowledge Your 4 Main Character Strengths.
- Exercise, Stretch Or Dance.
That’s it! If you want to do any of the practices above for longer you can but as long as you do at least 3 minutes of each, that is enough. (You may even be able to condense them to 2 minutes each and can therefore complete the whole process in 8 minutes if you are really short of time!)
How to do the Jumpstart to Joy in the evening before going to sleep
For your last 3 minutes before going to sleep, think about 3 things that were good on that day.
